Skegness Fire Destroys Arcade Complex
An entertainment arcade in Skegness town centre has been destroyed in a fire.
Emergency services were called to the scene at The Parade at around 11.00pm.
Some 200 fire fighters tackled the major fire in the complex which contained a nightclub, pub and amusement arcades.
The fire in the centre of the complex, created major structural damage leading to the collapse of the roof and fire crews are expected to remain at the scene for most of the day to monitor the scene.
The fire has also damaged the adjacent Grand Hotel.

Heroic Tyne Firemen Honoured
Two Tyne and Wear firefighters are to be recognised for their bravery at a special ceremony today. Andrew Nelson and Allan Richardson will be presented with the Chief Fire Officer's Commendations for brave and meritorious conduct after saving a man's life. The men took part in a dramatic rescue in the early hours of 4 February.

Firefighters launch four-day strike
More than 1,000 firefighters across Merseyside have begun a four-day strike in protest over planned job cuts. Another four-day stoppage is scheduled to begin two hours after the first one ends.

Suspicious Glasgow Car Fires
Detectives in Glasgow's East End are investigating a spate of vehicle fire attacks in the city yesterday. Shortly after 3.30am police were called to a report of a vehicle fire in Ashvale Crescent, Glasgow. Upon arrival police were advised by Strathclyde Fire Service that four vehicles had been damaged by fire.

Major fire causes disruption in Manchester city centre
A major fire has destroyed a five-storey office building in Manchester, spreading to a second building. The fire broke out on Dale Street around 5:55am on Monday morning. It is understood that the initial fire has been brought under control, but the building is now in danger of collapsing.
