Body Found In River Liffey
The body of a man has been pulled from the River Liffey in Dublin.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 7:15am on Friday and the body was recovered from the river.
The body has been taken to Dublin City Morgue for a post-mortem.
It is not known if there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death, but Gardai say that they are keeping an open mind at this stage.

British troops fighting in the frontline are to receive new body armour and helmets this autumn, it has been announced. Over 10,000 sets of the enhanced Mark 7 helmet and the Osprey Assault body armour have been ordered from companies across the UK, under initial contracts worth around £16 million.

Avon and Somerset and police have appealed for information following the discovery of a man's body in the River Avon in Bristol. The body of a man, believed to be aged in his 20s, was recovered from the river in the Hanham area on Wednesday, 30 September.

The shock discovery of a body in the river near Longford Town this morning may end a six-day hunt for a missing local pensioner. The body - belived to be that of an elderly man - was discovered just before 9am this morning by a passer-by out walking.

Body Recovered From Cumbrian River
A body has been recovered from a river in Cumbria following a search for a man missing in the water. At around 4.15pm on Tuesday, police were called to the River Esk at Longtown Bridge, near Carlisle, after receiving reports of a man in difficulties in the water. It is understood the man, aged 32, had just rescued a young girl from the river.
