Men In Court Over Boxer's Murder
Two men have appeared in court today charged with the murder of former British heavyweight boxer, James Oyebola.
Rene McKoy, 19, and Kanyanta Mulenga, 22, both from south London appeared before West London Magistrates' Court on Thursday. They were remanded in custody to appear before the Old Bailey on January 3.
A third man, who was arrested at Gatwick Airport on August 1, was released without charge and will face no further action.
Mr Oyebola, 47, was shot in the head at the Chateau 6 nightclub in Fulham Road on July 23, in a row over smoking in the club. He died four days later.

Two more arrested over teenager's murder
Two more teenagers have been arrested in connection with the murder of London teenager Paul Erhahon. The pair, aged 15 and 18, were arrested in east London on Tuesday morning. Paul died after being attacked and stabbed outside a block of flats in Leytonstone on April 6. His 15-year-old friend was also stabbed but survived the attack.

Teen Remanded Over Rhys Jones' Murder
A teenage boy has appeared in court today, charged with the murder of Merseyside schoolboy Rhys Jones. The 17-year-old appeared before Liverpool Magistrates Court charged with the fatal shooting of eleven-year-old Rhys in Croxteth, Liverpool, last August.

Abu Hamza remanded in custody
The radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri has been remanded in custody at Bow Street Magistrates Court today. Abu Hamza, who faces a total of nine charges, appeared by videolink from Belmarsh prison. He was remanded in prison until July 23. The 46-year-old was arrested on May 27 on an extradition warrant served by the US government.

Two men have been arrested in Birmingham in connection with the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky. The men were arrested in connection with firearms offences, following a joint operation between West Yorkshire and West Midlands Police on Thursday morning.
