Wildcat Strikes Continue As Postal Talks Resume
Talks between the Royal Mail and the Communications Workers' Union (CWU) have resumed as unofficial strike action continued by postal workers in some areas of the country.
Around 130,000 members of the CWU participated in official strike action over pay and pensions last week and earlier this week.
However, wildcat strikes have been continuing in some areas, including London and Liverpool, since the end of the official action.
The unofficial strikes were sparked by changes to shift times, which workers said they had not consented to.
Talks between the Royal Mail and the CWU, aimed at preventing official rolling strikes from beginning next week in the ongoing pay and pension dispute, resumed on Friday.
