Scottish Tourist Murdered In Benidorm
An investigation has been launched into the murder of a Scottish man in Benidorm.
Ken Macintyre, 64, was with a friend when they were attacked and robbed near Domino bar in the Spanish holiday resort in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for the Foreign Office confirmed: "A man was attacked in an old part of the resort of Benidorm. However, we do not believe that the mugging caused the man's death. We believe that a subsequent incident caused the death of one of the men."
Spanish police said that Mr Macintyre and his friend were both "well-known visitors" to Benidorm.
Mr Macintyre's next of kin have been informed.

Resort body believed to be missing Briton
A body found in a Spanish resort is thought to be that of a missing British man. Kevin Hoare, 39, has not been seen since May 11. He had gone to a gay nightclub, the Organics Club in Stiges, near Barcelona, after having dinner with two friends. He remained in the club after his friends had left.

12 Years For Man Who Killed And Dismembered Friend
A 47-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison for the manslaughter of his David Guy. Mr Guy's body was dismembered with the torso, legs and pelvis found in two separate locations along Southsea beach in July 2012. The rest of Mr Guy's body has never been recovered.

Man In Court Over Asda Car Park Death
A 65-year-old man has appeared in court charged with manslaughter after a 64-year-old man was killed in an alleged row over a parking space, Sky News has said. Alan Watts appeared at Bedford Magistrates' Court only to confirm his name and address and that he understood the charge.
