Tina 'Rollin' Into UK Next Year
Iconic singer Tina Turner will play four UK dates next year.
The performer will play two gigs in London and two in Manchester, in March 2009.
Turner, 68, played a 'farewell' world tour in 2000 to 120,000 fans but she revealed earlier this month that she planned a comeback tour of the US.
Turner said that people were asking her when she would go on tour after her appearance with Beyoncé at this year's Grammy Awards when they performed 'Proud Mary'.
She said that "after a lot of thought and planning" she announced an US and European tour.
"I don't want to let down all my loyal fans over there [in Europe]. See you in the New Year", she said.
Her US tour will kick off in Kansas City.
Tickets for the UK dates are due to go on sale on 28 May.
Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock in Tennessee, has won eight Grammy Awards and her contributions to rock music have earned her the title 'The Queen of Rock & Roll'.
She suffered a violent marriage to Ike and got divorced in 1978 after 16 years of marriage.
Turner is best known for hits such as 'What's Love Got To Do With It', 'Simply The Best' and 'Rollin Down The River'.
