Stripping Teacher Shown The Door
A supply teacher has been banned for stripping of his clothes in front on his teenage students.
The incident, which happened at Sudbury Upper School in Sudbury, Suffolk, in April was filmed by a pupil on a mobile phone and was then posted on internet website YouTube.
The footage, taken by a pupil using her mobile phone, shows the bespectacled, bearded teacher unbuttoning his shirt and then going 'topless' and flexing his (flabby) muscles in front of the hysterical class.
A Suffolk County Council spokesperson said that following the incident, the man was "asked to leave the school" and his agency which supplied him was informed.
"The school felt his behaviour inappropriate," the spokesperson said.
It is reported that the 40-second video clip shows the teacher removing his shirt and pointing to his left bicep, to the raucous chorus of cheers from girls and boys.
Neither the school nor the council have named the teacher, who is understood to be clearly recognisable from the footage.
The teacher had been employed through a Hertfordshire agency. He has been banned from working in Suffolk County Council schools.
Headteacher of Sudbury Upper School, David Forrest, said he had seen the footage soon after the incident, before it was published on the website.
