Woman Questioned Over Suspected Terror Offences
A 40-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of terror offences, police have revealed.
Greater Manchester Police said the woman was arrested in Longsight last Friday after officers searched addresses in Manchester and Holland. The woman possessed documents which prompted a joint investigation by British and Dutch authorities.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 40-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism.
"She was arrested at an address in Longsight on the evening of Friday, October 17, and a warrant for further detention has been granted to question her."
The woman remains in custody, and the address has been searched, police added.
Inquiries are continuing.

Police Officer Arrested In Fraud Investigation
A serving Norfolk Police officer has been arrested on suspicion of fraud and laundering. It is understood that the office was arrested along with two other people by detectives investigating fraud allegations. Police say that a man and a woman, both in their 30s, and a second woman in her 50s were held in Norwich on Thursday.

Five arrested in anti-terror raids
Five men have been arrested under the Terrorism Act in a series of anti-terror raids in West Yorkshire and Manchester. Two men, aged 29 and 25, were arrested in dawn raids in Halifax, carried out by officers from the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command and West Yorkshire Police.
