Man Sexually Assaulted In Club Toilet

An 18-year-old man has been sexually assaulted in a nightclub toilet in Oxford. The man was attacked by another man at the Coven Nightclub in Oxpens Road in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to police. Detectives do not have a description of the assailant and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward. Det Sgt Katy Barrow-Grint said: "There were a lot of people in the club and we feel certain that someone would have seen or heard something suspicious."

800 New Jobs To Be Created At Bupa

Private healthcare firm Bupa is to create 800 jobs under plans to open three new care homes. The group is recruiting employees for the new facilities due to open by the end of the year in Southampton, Stratford-upon-Avon and Malvern. New posts will range from carers to maintenance staff. "We are investing in new care homes, extensions and refurbishments, but it is the people working in our care homes who really make the difference to residents", Alistair How, the group's UK Care Homes Director said.

Teen Arrested Over 62-Year-Old Death

A 16-year-old male has been arrested in relation to the violent death of a man in Ayrshire. George Stewart, 62, died shortly after he was discovered with serious injuries in Ranoldcoup Road, Darvel, on Wednesday 25 February. A Strathclyde Police spokesman said a 16-year-old boy has been arrested and detained in connection.

Men In Court Over Glasgow Flat Seige

Four men are due in court today following a siege at a flat in Glasgow. The area of Balgrayhill, in the Springburn area was cordoned off at around 7.45am by police, after they went to investigate an alleged assault on two people. The four men were charged with serious assault and breach of the peace. Two women who were taken into custody have been released and are being treated as witnesses. Two men were treated in hospital for knife wounds sustained before the siege.

Sky News Cameraman Killed In Egypt
A Sky news cameraman has been shot and killed while covering the ongoing violence in Cairo, Egypt. The broadcaster confirmed the death of 61-year-old Mick Deane on Wednesday. Mr Dean had worked for Sky for 15 years. In a statement, Head of Sky News, John Ryley, paid tribute to an "experienced journalist" and a "much-loved colleague".
