Man Arrested Over 'Scissors' Stabbing
A man has been arrested in relation to the death of a teenager who is believed to have been stabbed with scissors outside a shopping centre.
Thames Valley police launched an investigation after the victim, in his late teens, died in hospital after the incident outside Broad Street Mall in Reading town centre on Thursday afternoon, just before 2pm.
A spokesman for the Broad Street Mall said he believed the teenager had been stabbed with a pair of scissors, however police have not confirmed this.
Centre manager Steve Fawke said the victim had been "brutally attacked".
He said: "Our centre security team and Thames Valley Police were n the scene within a minute."
Mr Fawke added: "The Broad Street Mall's CCTV system captured the whole incident, a copy of which has been made available to the police to help with their investigation."
A man was arrested in connection with the incident yesterday and remains in police custody.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
