Six Injured In Racecourse Crash
Six people have been taken to hospital following an accident at Goodwood racecourse.
South East Coast Ambulance said five people were taken to St Richards Hospital, Chichester, two with crush injuries, following the incident which took place at midday in Monday.
The accident happened in the car parks on the inside of the Goodwood course yesterday, ahead of the afternoon's races.
A statement from Goodwood read: "The emergency services were called to the racecourse at approximately 12.20pm as a result of an accident in car parks two and three on the inside of the racecourse.
"Six people have been treated for their injuries and taken to St Richards Hospital in Chichester."
Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it also attended but was not needed as no one was trapped.
Racing on Monday was delayed by about 30 minutes due to the incident.

A major police hunt has begun after a five-year-old boy with a brain tumour, was taken by his family without consent from Southampton General Hospital. Police said that Ashya King was taken from the hospital by Brett King, 51, and Naghemeh King, 45, on Thursday. It is thought he may have been taken to France.

Teenager Dies In Car Crash
An 18-year-old man has died and three people have been injured in a car accident in Cornwall. The head-on crash involved a Rover Mini, a Renault Scenic and a Volkswagon Polo on the B3274 at Winnards Perch, at approximately 10.20pm last night. The driver of the Mini, a man from the Padstow area, died from his injuries.
