Police Name Wanted Youth
Police have released details of a youth they wish to speak to in connection with a fatal shooting of a Manchester teenager earlier this year.
Detectives with Greater Manchester Police have offered a £15,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest of 16-year-old Moses Mathias.
Officers have taken the unusual step of naming the minor, who is wanted in relation to the murder of Giuseppe Gregory.
Informants will not have to give evidence in court, and are simply asked to disclose the whereabout of Moses, who police believe could be in the Midlands.
Detective Superintendent Paul Rumney said: "We need to speak to Moses urgently. If anyone knows him or his whereabouts, you must get in touch immediately.
"We're so keen to speak to him that we have taken the unusual step of naming a boy who is under 18 and we are offering the reward to anyone who can tell us where he is staying."
Superintendent Rumney said any information received would be treated sensitively.
He appealed directly to Moses or anyone who may be supporting him to get in contact.
"Giuseppe's murder left his family and friends absolutely devastated and we will not rest until those responsible are brought to justice."
Giuseppe, 16, died in the early hours of Monday 11 May 2009 after being shot outside the Robin Hood pub on Barton Road, Stretford.
A post mortem examination concluded Giuseppe died as a result of a single gunshot wound to the head.
Five men have been charged with a range of offences in connection with Giuseppe's murder and are currently awaiting trial.
Anyone who knows where Moses Mathias may be should call the Giuseppe Gregory murder incident room on the following numbers: 0800 092 0410 (for callers within UK), 0207158 0124 (for callers outside the UK) or 0161 856 2446. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

CBI issues call for interest rate cut
The CBI has called for a cut in interest rates on the back of a report, published today, indicating a dramatic fall in manufacturing orders. In its Quarterly Industrial Trends survey, the CBI say it is "particularly worrying" that, with a deterioration in domestic demand, orders have fallen at the fastest rate since April 1999.
