Search Resumed For Missing Essex Schoolgirl
The hunt for an eleven-year-old girl who disappeared while swimming on a beach in Clacton, Essex at the weekend has resumed today.
The girl, named in reports as Stella Ankabi from Buckinghamshire, got into trouble while swimming with a friend on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Stella was on a day trip to Clacton with a friend and her friend's parents.
A man in dinghy was able to rescue one of the girls, but could not find the other.
A search was then launched, involving the local Coastguard rescue team, an inshore lifeboat, an RAF rescue helictoper and a police helicopter.
The girl who was rescued was treated in hospital, along with the man who rescued her, after they both swallowed a lot of water.
The man was later released, but the girl is still being treated for shock in Colchester General Hospital.
Stella's mother is reported to have travelled to Clacton to meet with police.

Missing Teenage Scouts Found 'Safe And Well'
Five 13-year-old scouts reported missing on Monday after in south-west Scotland, have been found 'safe and well'. The four boys and one girl had been hiking in Ae Forest when they were reported missing. Initial reports said that the teenagers were equipped with adequate clothing and torches.

Rescue Teams Find Body In Missing Tourist Hunt
Rescue teams searching for a missing 48-year-old man have found a body. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team discovered the remains while searching for Simon Bally of Stoke-on-Trent, at the head of the Buttermere Valley on Tuesday.

Baby Girl Dies In Dog Attack
An 11-month-old baby has died after being mauled by a pet dog, police in Lancashire have said. The baby girl, from Emily Street in Blackburn, died in hospital at about 23:00 on Monday. Police have arrested a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of child neglect in connection with the incident.
