Migrant Mum Dies In Latest Stabbing
The latest incident in a violent week has left a woman dead after being stabbed in Co Tyrone.
She was killed and a man left critically ill after an incident in Dungannon yesterday.
The victim was found in the Merron Mews area at 3.30pm and it is understood the woman is a migrant and a mother-of-two.
She was in her early 20s and was said to have been walking with the man when a row broke out between them.
The man, also a migrant worker, who had suffered stab wounds, was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for Craigavon Area Hospital said the man was "in a critical condition".
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area on Thursday afternoon and has information to get in touch with detectives in Dungannon.
In a separate incident, also on Thursday, a man was stabbed in the head and eye in an attack in west Belfast.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was assaulted by a number of men in a communal area outside his flat at Lenadoon Avenue.
Just last weekend, a man as stabbed to death in a Castledawson apartment block.
The 24-year-old man was fatally wounded at around 10.20pm on Sunday night on the Hillhead Road in Castledawson.
In another unrelated incident, the PSNI appealed for anyone with information to contact them after a woman in her 20s was stabbed in the head as she answered her front door near Omagh, Co Tyrone.
It was at about 5.15am on Sunday where she was holding a house-warming party, having just moved into the area last week.

Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

Fatal Stabbing In Fermanagh
Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with the death of a teenager at the weekend. The incident occurred around 11.30pm last night at a house at Townhill Park in the Irvinestown area, Co Fermanagh. It is believed that the 19-year-old man died after being stabbed in the chest.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs.
