Murder Inquiry Over Tyrone Stabbing

The PSNI has launched a murder inquiry into the death of a man in Dungannon.

A man was stabbed by another man at a house in the Woodvale Park area of the town during the early hours of Thursday morning.

A 34-year-old man who was arrested following the incident is currently being questioned by detectives.

It is believed that both men involved in the incident were originally from East Timor.

There have been reports that the stabbing followed an argument between the two men, who are thought to have known each other.

An incident room has been set up at Dungannon police station and police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
