Appeal Launched Over Sports Stadium Pipe Bomb
The PSNI has launched an appeal for information following the discovery of a pipe bomb in the car park of a County Antrim sports stadium at the weekend.
The stock car racing event at Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday night had to be evacuated following the discovery of the device.
About 500 spectators were left disappointed after the event was cancelled.
The pipe bomb was made safe by Army bomb disposal experts.
Police have appealed for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Ballymena CID on 0845 600 8000.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Viable Pipe Bomb Device Found In Newtownabbey
A viable pipe bomb device has been found under a bridge following a security alert in Newtownabbey. The device was discovered at Whitehouse Park at approximately 8.50pm on Saturday. A number of homes were evacuated while the device was examined. All residents returned to their homes at around 1pm on Sunday.

Lisburn On Alert As Pipe Bomb Explodes
There's an ongoing security alert in progress in Lisburn, Co Antrim after a pipe bomb device exploded at 9.30am this morning. A family escaped injury in the blast and the PSNI have said this afternoon that is not clear if the explosion occurred when the car drove over it, or that it had fallen off the vehicle.

Viable Pipe Bomb Discovered In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been discovered during a security alert in north Belfast. Police closed the Lepper Street area for a number of hours on Monday, however it has since been reopened. Sinn Féin councillor JJ Magee condemned those responsible.
