Men Arrested Over Victoria Sq Bomb
Two men have been arrested by detectives investigating a bomb attack in Belfast city centre last month.
On the evening of 24 November, a man had his car hijacked in north Belfast and was forced to drive a 130lb car bomb close to the Victoria Square Shopping Centre.
Once he had parked, the man then ran to a nearby police station and raised the alarm. The device partially exploded as police were examining the scene.
Two men aged 34 and 35 have been arrested in north Belfast and taken to Antrim police station for questioning.

Weekend Bomb Attacks Condemned
A spate of bomb attacks over the weekend has been condemned by the First and deputy First Minister and parties across the political spectrum. A police patrol was attacked with a pipe bomb in County Tyrone on Saturday. A security alert began in the Ballycolman estate, Strabane, at about 20:25, following news that something had been thrown at police.

TWO PENSIONERS ESCAPE INJURY IN PETROL BOMB ATTACK
TWO elderly Protestant sisters have escaped injury after a petrol bomb attack on their East Belfast home. The women, aged 73 and 79, escaped injury after a passing police patrol discovered a fire at their home and forced their way into the house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
