Bangor Shooting Suspect 'Released Unconditionally'

A man arrested in connection with a double shooting in Bangor, Co Down, earlier this month has been "released unconditionally".

The 41-year-old had been held on suspicion of the attempted murder of two men, a 24 and 33-year-old, as they sat in a car at about 01:00 on Monday 10 February at East Way in the Whitehill estate.

Police have reported the suspected has now been released and the investigation is continuing.

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.
