Former Chief Medical Officer Of England Appointed To Expert Group
An expert group, which will look at ways to improve the health service in Northern Ireland, is to be led by the former chief medical officer of England, Sir Liam Donaldson.
The appointment of Sir Donaldson follows allegations of inadequate care being provided by NI's health trusts.
A report from the expert group is expected by the end of the year.
