Shooting Victim Assaults Paramedic

A man has assaulted a paramedic who was treating him following a paramilitary-style attack in north Belfast.

The man had been shot in the Jamaica Court area of Ardoyne at about midnight on Thursday. The emergency services said a paramedic arrived at the scene, but the 24-year-old victim initially refused treatment.
