Funeral Held For 8-Year-Old Adam Gilmour

The funeral has taken place of 8-year-old Adam Gilmour, who died when his family was hit by a car as they walked to get on a school bus.

Adam, "died instantly" when he, his mother and five of his siblings were hit by a car near Cloughmills last Tuesday.

Following a private service held at Adam's grandmother's house in Cloughmills, the family were joined by hundreds of mourners at Killymurris Presbyterian Church in Glarryford for the funeral service.

Adam's mother was in a wheelchair, having been released from hospital for the funeral.

An 18-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident is currently on police bail.
