Craigavon To Host Major Job Fair And Advice Forum
Craigavon is to play host to a major Job Fair and Advice Forum on Thursday 5 February between 10am and 5pm.
The event, which is free and open to all, will take place in the Seagoe Hotel, Craigavon. The Job Fair has been organised by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) in conjunction with Craigavon Borough Council.
Speaking ahead of the event, Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry said: "This event brings employers, support organisations and jobseekers together under one roof. The Job Fair has something for everyone and I would encourage anyone, whether in work, unemployed or simply considering their education and training options, to explore the services which will be available on the day."
Over 30 employers, including Almac, Omniplex Cinemas, Teleperformance and Fane Valley, will be in attendance, as will a number or support and training organisations. The Job Fair will offer jobseekers employment opportunities on the day, careers guidance, advice on training and jobsearch skills.
A series of employer presentations from a number of organisations including Almac, Southern Health and Social Care Trust and BT will also take place at the event. The presentations will provide information on the type of jobs on offer, how to apply for current positions and the type of person the organisation looks for in a potential employee.
