Suspect Charged Over Maghera Robbery
A man has been charged after a filling station was robbed in Co Londonderry.
The theft happened on 5 February in Maghera.
Police said a number of masked men armed with handguns were involved in the incident.
The 48-year-old male has been charged with robbery and firearms offences.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

A court case connected to the mysterious death of a man - Gregory Woods (41) from Castledawson - who was found dead close to Glenshane Forest last Tuesday, has been given a further twist after it emerged that one of the two men charged in connection with the killing had himself alerted police over fears for the dead man's safety.

Two charged over Tobermore murder
Two men have been remanded in custody over the murder of a Scotsman in County Londonderry in the early hours of Saturday morning. John Richard Stewart, 41, and Thomas Rodney Colgan, 29, both of King William III Crescent in Maghera, denied the charge at Limavady Magistrates Court this afternoon.
