Ballynahinch Security Alert Ends
A security alert in Ballynahinch, Co Down, has now ended.
Army bomb experts carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious object discovered in the Hillcrest Lane area on Tuesday.
The remnants have been taken away to be examined further.
Residents have now returned to their homes.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Security Alert In Ballynahinch Ends
A security alert in Bellynahinch has now ended. A suspicious object was discovered in the Lisburn Street area on Tuesday, 21 November. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and found what is believed to be part of a World War II device, which has been sent for further forensic examination. The road has been re-opened.

West Belfast security alert ends
A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.

East Belfast Security Alert Ends
A security alert in east Belfast has now ended. The alert happened after a suspicious object was discovered in the Medway Street area on Thursday. The pipe-bomb device was made safe and removed, according to the police. Residents evacuated from their homes returned at around 10pm.

A security alert in Co L'Derry has ended after police declared a suspicious object to be a hoax. Army bomb experts examined the object found on the Glengalliagh Road on Thursday, 21 July, and have removed it for further examination. The road has been re-opened.
