Four People Escape Injury Following Arson Attack In L'Derry
Four people have escaped injury following an arson attack in L'Derry.
The incident happened at a house in the Drumard Park area at around 3am on Tuesday.
Police believe old furniture was deliberately placed against the door of the property and set alight.
The residents, who were in the property at the time, made there way out the back door. No injuries were reported.
The front door of the house was badly damaged in the blaze.
A motive has not yet been established.

A woman and child have escaped injury after a gang of armed men attacked their home in east Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Fashoda Street at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 14 February. The men, armed with hammers, smashed a number of windows at the property. A mother and her daughter were not injured, the PSNI have confirmed.

A Co Down couple have escaped injury following a petrol bomb attack at their home in Moira, Co Down. It is believed that three petrol bombs were thrown at the house shortly after 1.20am this morning. The couple, who were in bed at the time, escaped unhurt. Some damage was caused to their front door and a car.

A man and woman escaped injury last night after a gun attack in Ballynahinch. The incident happened at around 11.30pm on Wednesday night when two shots were fired through the front door and kitchen window of the house in Brian Drive. The couple were upstairs at the time of the incident.
