Police Vehicle Attacked In Carrickfergus
A police vehicle has been attacked in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
The incident happened in the Pinewood Avenue area at around 2am on Monday.
Two police officers, who were conducting a mobile patrol of the area, were inside the vehicle.
A man threw a brick at the car and smashed the windscreen and made off.
The officers were both left shaken, however they were not injured.
Sergeant Brian Caskey said: "The person responsible needs to be identified and brought to justice. Anyone with information can contact police on 101."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Vehicle Contracts Arrest - Man Released
A 54-year-old member of police staff who was arrested in County Antrim as part of ongoing investigations into the awarding of vehicle contracts has been released. The man was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and has been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.

Three In Hospital After Police Vehicle Collides With Another Vehicle
Two police officers and a civilian remain in hospital following a collision in Newry on Saturday, 13 April. It is understood that the police officers were travelling in a police vehicle to attend a separate incident at about 7.30pm when they collided with another vehicle on the Fathom Road.

Two police drivers have been disciplined for driving at excessive speeds without justification in Tyrone in October 2016. A member of the public contacted the Police Ombudsman's Office to report that two police cars had overtaken him at speed as he approached the end of the Moneymore to Cookstown dual carriageway at Cookstown at around 8pm.
