Invest NI To Host Trade Mission To Poland And Czech Republic
Invest NI are to host a Trade Mission visit to Poland and the Czech Republic from 05 – 09 June, 2017, offering participants to take advantage of the business opportunities within the region.
The five day mission will visit Warsaw and Prague, however participants will have the option to travel outside these cities.
The mission will be multi-sectoral and open to companies wishing to develop their exports to this region.
Invest NI highlighted the benefits to participants:
Czech Republic
The Czech Republic is one of the most stable and prosperous markets in central Europe. The private sector accounts for about 80% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Gross domestic income per capita is currently around USD 27,191 – one of the highest in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Poland
Poland is the largest of the newer European Union (EU) member states. It has been one of the fastest developing countries in the EU in recent years. In 2014 its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 3.3%, well above the EU average. With a population of 38.5 million people, and the largest consumer market in CEE, it continues to offer Northern Ireland companies a strong opportunity within a number of key sectors.
Benefits of participation include:
• advice and support on doing business in Poland and the Czech Republic, from our in-market consultants
• programme arranging through the in-market advisers in Poland and the Czech Republic
• direct insights into local market opportunities and conditions
• up to 50% contribution towards economy airfares (capped amount)*
• up to £75 per night towards accommodation – maximum 5 nights*

Trade Mission To Czech Republic Announced
Invest NI has announced a new Trade Mission to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary in October this year. Businesses are invited to join the mission and take advantage of the business opportunities within the region. The main mission centre is based in the Czech Republic with the option to travel to either Slovakia or Hungary.
