Mother And Son Escape Injury Following Petrol Bomb Attack

A mother and her son have escaped injury after a petrol bomb attack at a house in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

The attack happened in the Springdale area in the early hours of Thursday morning, 11 January.

The device was thrown at a window and caught fire outside the property.

The woman extinguished the fire herself.

She and her 24-year-old son were asleep at the time of the attack. They were not hurt, however they were left shocked.

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

A woman and her eight-year-old son have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack at their home in Co Down on Tuesday. The device was thrown at the front of the house at Ballyminetragh Gardens, Bangor, at around 9pm. The woman and her child were in the living room when the petrol bomb was thrown at the window.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A mother and son have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack at their home in south Belfast overnight. Two devices were thrown through the living room window of their house in Laurelgrove Dale, Castlereagh, shortly after midnight. Both failed to ignite however scorch damage was caused to the front of the property.

Family escape serious injury in petrol bomb attack
Police are appealing for information following a petrol bomb attack in Co Tyrone last night that hospitalised a pregnant woman. The incident which occurred at a house at Avery Park, Newtownstewart on Sunday evening, led to a pregnant woman, a man and two young children being treated for smoke inhalation.

Appeal For Information On Petrol Bomb Attack In Coleraine
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack at a property in the Loughanhill Park area of Coleraine. Shortly after 1.20am on Monday 22nd August, emergency services were called to reports of a fire after a suspected petrol bomb had been thrown at the front of a property.
