Man Pleads Guilty To 20 Theft Offences

A man has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to 20 offences of theft.

The 22-year-old suspect appeared in court following a number of shoplifting offences across Ballymena and Antrim.

PSNI Inspector Simpson said: "With the help of the local community we can make real progress in tackiling local crime and issues that directly effect you."

Officers Arrested In Connection With Prescription Drugs Probe
Two police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into a number of potential offences. The offences included theft and distribution of prescription drugs. The officers were detained by Police Ombudsman investigators on Thursday morning, 07 December. They were arrested at police stations in Co Antrim.

Suspect Charged Over Maghera Robbery
A man has been charged after a filling station was robbed in Co Londonderry. The theft happened on 5 February in Maghera. Police said a number of masked men armed with handguns were involved in the incident. The 48-year-old male has been charged with robbery and firearms offences.

Man Arrested In Connection With Fuel Theft
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of diesel theft from a property in the Ballymagorry area of Strabane last night, Tuesday, 11th October. The arrest followed the report of alleged diesel theft from an address on Ballyheather Road shortly after 10pm where a red Berlingo van was also found at the address and abandoned.

Two Arrests After £60,000 Cocaine Seized In Dungannon
Two people have been arrested after police seized around £60,000 of suspected cocaine in Dungannon, Co Tyrone. A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of drugs related offences including importation of Class A controlled drugs and attempted possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. A number of electronic devices were also seized.
