Appeal Issued On Tenth Anniversary Over Murder Of NI Man In Donegal
Gardai have issued an appeal for information on the tenth anniversary of the murder of Northern Ireland man Andrew Burns.
The 27-year-old was discovered on church grounds in Castlefin, Donegal, on 12 February.
He had been shot several times.
The murder was blamed on dissident republican group Óglaigh na hÉireann.
One man was convicted of his murder, however Gardai believe there were a number of people involved.
A garda spokesperson said: "An Garda Síochána are grateful for all the witnesses that have come forward and made statements however Gardaí believe that there are still people who have information which may assist with the investigation.
"Gardaí wish to appeal for anyone with information no matter how insignificant it may seem to come forward to assist with this investigation."

A murder investigation was launched after a man was found seriously injured and unconscious in the Cupar Street area of the city on Wednesday evening, 6 March. The man passed away in hospital later that same night.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The incident happened on the Carndaisy Road at around 9.50pm on Friday, 09 March. The 22-year-old man was discovered by a passer-by inside a blue BMW.

A man has been charged with the murder of James Hughes in West Belfast at the weekend. Mr Hughes was found dead at his flat on the 14th floor of Divis Tower on Sunday, 06 November.
