Security Alert In North Belfast Ends
A security alert in north Belfast has now ended.
A number of homes were evacuated when a suspicious object was discovered in the South Crescent area on Monday, 10 September.
The device was declared not viable and residents have returned to their homes.
The road has also been re-opened.
Inspector David McBride said: "Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 516 of 10/09/18."

On Friday evening, November 22nd, a vehicle was intercepted and searched in the West Bank Road area of north Belfast.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
