Police Appeal For Hit And Run Driver To Come Forward
Police are appealing for the driver of a car involved in a recent hit and run to come forward.
The vehicle, possibly a jeep according to the PSNI, collided with a Seat Lean on Saturday 10 November near Snowhill Cross in Lisnaskea.
The two adults and two children in the Seat escaped uninjured, but the car was almost forced off the road and left with "significant damage".
Police are currently investigating and are appealing for witnesses and information to assist their enquiries.
Constable Jason Stewart said: "We received a report at 7.25pm of a collision on the Gardiners Cross Road that occurred approximately five minutes previously.
"It was reported the driver of a black Seat Leon was heading towards Maguiresbridge when their vehicle was involved in a collision with an oncoming vehicle - possibly a jeep-type vehicle - which then drove on towards Tempo.
"I want to appeal to the driver of the second vehicle, which would have sustained some front end damage, to come forward.
"I also want to appeal to anyone who was in the area around 7:20pm and saw what happened or has dash-cam footage which may have captured the collision to contact us on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference 1198 of 10/11/18."

It has been claimed that 60 per cent of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are failing to ensure that their staff are fit to drive while on company business. This is just one of the findings contained in a recent survey undertaken by HSBC Vehicle Finance into the issue of company behaviour on health and safety issues.
