Limavady House Targeted In Arson Attack

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an arson attack on a house in Limavady on Tuesday 27 November.

The attack happened in the Coolesson Walk area at around 11.30pm.

Police received a report that a wheelie bin was placed at the rear door of the property and set alight.

No one was in the house at the time.

Officers attended the scene, along with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service who extinguished the blaze.

The back door of the property was damaged.

Detective Sergeant Wallace said the incident is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life and is appealing for anyone with information who can assist the investigation to contact detectives in Coleraine on 101, quoting reference 1392 of 27 November.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

PSNI Appeal For Information After Cars Set Alight In North Belfast
The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

House Destroyed In Suspected Arson Attack
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack which destroyed one house and damaged another in Newtownabbey over the weekend. The blaze in the Birchmount area was reported to police at around 2pm on Saturday 13 April.
