Appeal For Witnesses After City Centre Robbery
Police have issued an appeal for information after a commercial premises in Belfast City Centre was robbed.
The business on High Street was targeted on Sunday evening, 03 February, when a man entered while armed with a large kitchen knife.
Detective Sergeant Corrigan explained: "The suspect demanded money; reached over the counter; grabbed a sum of money, and then fled. He is reported to be around 6' tall, and have worn a green woollen hat, a black coat with the hood pulled up, grey-coloured tracksuit-style bottoms and black trainers and had a scarf over his face.
"No one was injured during the incident, thankfully, however, this must have been a frightening ordeal for staff who were simply doing their job at their place of work.
"Our enquiries are at an early stage, and I want to appeal to anyone who was in the High Street area between 4:50pm and 5:10pm and saw a man matching the description of the suspect, or anyone who knows anything about this crime to call detectives in Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 929 of 03/02/19."

Police issue appeal following knife attack
Police have appealed for information about a serious assault in Londonderry, which resulted in a man receiving 16 stitches to his throat. The 32-year-old man was walking along Westland Street when two men confronted him around 2.30 on Thursday June 13. One pushed him and the other grabbed him from behind and put a knife against his throat.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Charged Following Drugs Find
A man has been charged after police seized drugs, worth a street value of between £50,000-£75,000, in Co L'Derry. Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis were discovered during search in the High Street area in Draperstown on Wednesday. A 35-year-old man has been charged with possession and cultivation of class B drugs with intent to supply.
