L'Derry Shop Targeted In Attempted Robbery
A shop in L'Derry has been damaged and staff left shaken after an attempted robbery.
Two men, one who was believed to be armed with a knife, entered the business premises on Westland street at around 5.45pm on Saturday evening, 11 May.
The knife was reportedly used to damage the till and other areas of the shop before the men left the scene on foot, empty handed. One was described as wearing a blue jacket with the hood pulled up and a scarf covering the lower half of his face while the other wore a purple tracksuit top pulled up over his face.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on non-emergency line 101.

Businesses Damaged By Blaze In Portstewart
An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. Man Extradited From Ireland To Face Serious Charges
A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.

Shop Worker Attacked In L'Derry
Police are appealing for information after a shop worker was attacked and threatened in L'Derry. The incident happened at a shop on the Temple Road in Strathfoyle Village at around 9.30pm on Saturday, 14 July. The worker was hit on the head and threatened at knifepoint. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene.

Shop Worker Threatened With Knife In West Belfast Robbery
A female shop worker has been threatened with a knife during a burglary in west Belfast. The incident happened in the Lanark Way area in the early hours of Friday, 27 April. A man held the knife to a member of staff and demanded her to open the till. He left the shop and also threatened another worker.
