Man & Woman Facing Terrorism Charges

Two people have been charged with terrorism offences following the search of an address in Ballymena, County Antrim on Friday 05 July.

The 31-year-old woman and 33-year-old man face charges which include possession of explosive substances and possession of ammunition.

It comes after detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit carried out a proactive search operation on the Cladytown Road in Glarryford.

The pair are due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court today, 08 July.
