Nora Quoirin: Family Offer £10k Reward For Information
The devastated family of missing teenager Nora Quoirin have offered a reward of around £10,000 for information that leads to her return.
A Malaysian police operation has been ongoing since Sunday 04 August when the 15-year-old, who is described as vulnerable with special educational needs, disappeared from a jungle holiday resort.
Over 300 search and rescue personnel continue to scour the surrounding jungle areas hunting for the missing teen.
The reward of 50,000 Malaysian ringgit, the equivalent of around £10,000, was donated by an anonymous Belfast-based business. It will be awarded for any information that directly helps locate Nora.
In a statement released today, her family said: "Nora is our first child. She has been vulnerable since the day she was born. She is so precious to us and our hearts are breaking. We are appealing to anyone who has information about Nora to help us find her."
The reward comes after the Malaysian police opened a dedicated hotline for people to contact with information regarding the disappearance, The public can call 0111-2285058 to pass on any details or email ops@lbtrust.org from outside Malaysia.

The Malaysian Attorney General has chosen to take "no further action" over the death of Nora Quoirin, a teenager who died after spending 10 days missing in the Malaysian jungle last August, sparking anger from her heartbroken parents. The vulnerable 15 year-old went missing during a family holiday to Dusun on August 04, 2019.

Nora Quoirin's Family Seek More Answers
Nora Quoirin's family have said they are hoping for more answers in relation to the 15-year-old's death. Nora's unclothed body was discovered on Tuesday, less than two miles from the Malaysian Dusun holiday resort where the family had been staying. A post-mortem examination revealed that she died from internal bleeding caused by hunger and stress.
