Concern Grows For Man With Suspected Concussion
Police are appealing for help tracing a Lisburn man suffering from a suspected concussion.
Andrew Scott, aged 48, was last seen leaving the Lagan Valley Hospital.
He is described as 5'6" in height, with short dark hair and wearing a black jacket, blue hospital trousers and carrying two carrier bags.
Andrew is from the Lisburn area but may also frequent Banbridge.
Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference 1872 of 05/12/19.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.

New UK-wide Concussion Guidelines for Grassroots Sport aimed at protecting the wellbeing of young athletes in Northern Ireland, has been endorsed by the Department for Communities. The guidance, which leads with the call to action 'If In Doubt, Sit Them Out', was published by the UK Government's Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
