Titanic Belfast Featured In Latest Mr. Men Book
Titanic Belfast has featured in the latest instalment of the famous 'Mr. Men' book series.
In their most recent tale 'Mr. Men In Ireland', the characters seek to help Mr Quiet, a man of few words, to locate the Blarney Stone in the hope he will learn to open up more.
First up on their adventure across the island of Ireland is the world famous Titanic Belfast. The Mr. Men experience the vessel throughout the exhibition's nine interpretive galleries, as well as hopping on board the SS Nomadic, the last remaining White Star Line vessel with an array of WW1 and WW2 history as well as its Titanic connection.
Continuing their journey to Blarney Castle, with its stone long-believed to enchant its kisser with the gift of the gab, the much-loved characters also stop off at the Giant's Causeway.
CEO of the visitor attraction Judith Owens said the characters were made extremely welcome in Belfast.
She commented: "For nearly 50 years, the Mr. Men books have been a one of the nation's most loved children's books, therefore, we are absolutely delighted to be featured as their first stop in Ireland."
