Strong Gales To Sweep NI
Northern Ireland is bracing itself for another stormy weekend as strong gales are expected to batter the region.
The worst of the disruption is expected throughout Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, when a yellow weather warning for wind will be in place.
As the gales move northeast across a large section of the UK, coastal routes, sea fronts and exposed communities are likely to see large waves and possible flooding.
The Met Office alert will run for 24 hours from 12 noon on Saturday.
Members of the public are advised to expect delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport as well as dangerous conditions for high-sided vehicles travelling on exposed routes and bridges.
