Jobs Boost As Australian Firm Sets Up In Co Tyrone
An Australian manufacturing company has chosen Dungannon as the location for its new manufacturing facility in an investment that will create seven jobs.
Dynamic Equipment, based in Adelaide, had offices in the US and Malaysia before taking the decision to establish operations in Northern Ireland.
It provides design, manufacture and installation of static quarry plants such as cone crushers, screens, feeders and washing equipment.
The highly skilled local talent and increase in global demand were key factors that pointed the firm towards investing locally.
Owner and Managing Director of the firm, Australian native Daniel Ritchie said: "We first established Dynamic Equipment due to the increasing demand in the global market for high quality mineral processing, aggregate and mining equipment. Choosing Northern Ireland was an easy choice for our business and we have been impressed with the high calibre of talent on offer here."
Invest NI offered £49,000 of support towards the creation of the seven new jobs, three of which are already in place.
Mr Ritchie said the support was instrumental in establishing a core team to help strengthen the global business.
