Police appeal following girl's death on quad bike
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a seven-year-old girl was killed following a quad bike accident at the weekend.
Megan Linda Bennett, from the Woodburn area in Carrickfergus, is believed to have been riding the machine at Hawthorne Avenue in the town when it crashed into a wall.
The incident occurred at around 4pm on Saturday.
The bike was immediately recovered by police and removed from the scene.

Teenager injured in road traffic accident
A teenager has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a road traffic collision in Co Armagh on Thursday afternoon. The boy was driving a quad bike along Charlestown Road in Portadown when it collided with a small van shortly after 1pm.

Developed in partnership with Cavehill Mountain Bike Club, 'The Middle' trail is a pilot project aimed at showcasing Cave Hill Country Park as a first-class visitor attraction for outdoor activities.

A man has died in a quad bike accident in Co Tyrone. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was killed at the scene in the Plumbridge area just before 5pm on Thursday, 02 November. Rapid response paramedics and an air ambulance attended the scene. Sinn Féin MLA Declan McAleer said the community is in "shock".

A teenage girl from Carrickfergus has died while on holiday in Scotland after the quad bike she was riding overturned on a beach near Stranraer. Lindsey Waller (17) from Heston Drive, Carrickfergus, was riding the quad bike along Sandhead Beach on Sunday afternoon, when the vehicle flipped over.
