Armed Men Rob Lisburn Road Takeaway

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an armed robbery in South Belfast in the early hours of Sunday, 23 July.

According to police, shortly after 00:45am, it was reported that two masked men entered a fast-food takeaway on the Lisburn Road and ordered food. As the till was opened, one of the men produced a knife and took the entire cash drawer from the till which contained a sum of money. The men then made off towards the Mount Prospect Park area following the incident. There were no reports of any injuries.

Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 78 23/07/23. Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."

Police Appeal After Arson Attack In Newtownards
Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Four Arrested Following Disorder In South Belfast
Four men have been arrested following public disorder incidents in the university area of south Belfast on Thursday, November 14th. Police responded to a number of offences, including resisting and obstructing police, and assault on police. Three men, aged 18, 20, and 21, have been charged and are due to appear in court in December.

Armed Masked Men Threaten Resident During Burglary In Belfast City Centre
Four masked men armed with weapons and a baseball bat have threatened a resident during an aggravated burglary in Belfast city centre. The incident happened at a flat in the College Square North area just after 11pm on Sunday, 24 July. The suspects confronted the resident, who was in the property at the time, before leaving again.
