St John Ambulance (NI) Seeks First Aid Trainer Assessors

St John Ambulance (NI) has announced that it requires sessional trainer assessors to deliver first aid at work courses.

Applicants should have a First Aid at Work Certificate or be:

• registered and licensed as a doctor with the General Medical Council

• registered as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

• registered as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council

Candidates are also required to have:

• evidence of nationally recognised Training AND Assessing qualification/s

e.g. a combined qualification such as 'Level 3 Award in Education and Training' or two separate qualifications such as 'CTLLS/DTLLS'

• a Minimum of 1 year first aid training experience (preferably adult training) or a medical background

• definite flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland to train at different venues as required

• definite flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and Saturdays as required
