Searches In Republic In Robbie Lawlor Murder Investigation
Search operation have been carried out in Dublin and Sligo today, Tuesday 23 July, as part of the ongoing investigation into the April 2020 murder of Robbie Lawlor.
Working as part of the Joint Agency Task Force, searches of 12 premises were carried out by An Garda Síochána with support from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
The joint investigation, which is supported by Eurojust, is led by the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Major Investigation Team.
During the course of today's searches, Gardaí seized a number of electronic devices for further examination.
Mr Lawlor was shot dead outside a house in north Belfast on 04 April, 2020.

Man Extradited From Republic of Ireland to Face 1979 Murder Charge
A 67-year-old man, accused of the murder of Joseph James Porter in Armagh in 1979, has been extradited from the Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland. The man was arrested in the Republic of Ireland on 24th June 2024, on suspicion of the murder of Mr Porter, which occurred in Armagh on the same date in 1979.

Murder Investigation Launched Into Disappearance Of Damien Heagney
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have launched a murder investigation into the disappearance of 47-year-old Damien Heagney from Cookstown. Mr Heagney was reported missing on Tuesday 19 July and police have said that they are "keeping an open mind" they now believe that he has been murdered.
