Police appeal for information following armed robbery in south Belfast
Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at an off licence in Agincourt Avenue last night.
At around 5.50pm a man armed with a handgun entered the premises in the Holy Lands area and, after threatening a female member of staff, stole a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. The thief also stole a phone before running off along Penrose Street towards Rugby Avenue.
He is described as being in his early twenties, approximately 5’6 tall and of slim build. He was wearing denim jeans and a dark coloured hooded top.
Anyone with information should contact detectives at Musgrave Street on 028 9065 0222 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Police in south Belfast have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a hairdressing salon last night. At around 7pm, two men armed with knives entered the premises on the Sunnyside Street area of the city, and threatened a female member of staff, while holding a knife to her throat.

Bookmakers robbed in south Belfast
Police in South Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a bookmakers shop on Monday. Shortly before 2.30pm a man armed with a knife entered the premises at Gresham Street and after threatening staff made off with an undisclosed sum of cash. It is believed he escaped on foot along Gresham Street and into North Street.

Man Arrested After Cars Damaged In South Belfast
A man has been arrested after reports of vehicles being damaged in south Belfast. Four cars were damaged in University Avenue, Dudley Street, the Cloisters and Rugby Avenue on Thursday, 31 August. A 25-year-old man has been arrested and is helping police with their enquiries. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man, armed with a knife, threatened staff at a shop on the Ravenhill Road at around 8.20pm on Friday, 01 April. A sum of money was taken and the man got into a silver car which was parked on My Lady's Road.
