Man Charged Following Fatal Crash In County Armagh

A 32-year-old man has been charged to court following a collision in Killylea, County Armagh, on Friday 27th December.

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Collision Investigation Unit charged the man with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and one count of causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving.

He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court today, Friday 3rd January.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Two women, aged in their 50s, are being treated in hospital for serious injuries after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run incident in Killyleagh, County Down. Suspected Stolen Car Crashes In Lurgan
Three men have been arrested after a suspected stolen car was involved in a collision in Lurgan. The incident occurred on the Silverwood Road on Thursday at around 2.30pm. The car crashed into a police vehicle after it failed to stop on the Thornberry Road before making off.

Man charged following road death
A man has been charged following a road accident on Monday in which a 33-year-old woman died. The 38-year-old man was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit. A second woman was seriously injured in the crash which occurred on Monday on the Newry to Belfast road.

Police question man over West Belfast attack
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault in the Lenadoon area of West Belfast. The incident took place on January 28, and the victim was left with serious head injuries.
