Men in court over 'serious crime'
Two men have appeared in court over the weekend after being charged in connection to a serious crime investigation in Counties Armagh and Tyrone.
In the first instance a 34-year-old man was charged with possession of explosives in suspicious circumstances and appeared before a special sitting of Omagh Magistrates court.
In the second case, a 35-year-old man was charged with possession of articles likely to be of use to terrorists and appeared before a special sitting of Banbridge Magistrate’s Court also on Saturday.
The charges relate to arrests made in the Armagh and Dungannon area on 7th April in connection to serious crime in the area.
Three other men who were also being questioned were released. Two were released unconditionally and in the third case a file will be submitted to the public prosecution service.

Extradited man denies murder
A 43-year-old Chinese man who was extradited from Hong Kong in connection with the death of a Chinese woman has denied murder. Wong Sui Ching appeared today at Belfast Magistrate’s Court charged with the murder of 29-year-old part-time waitress Ho Mi Ye. She had been found strangled at her home in Isoline Street in east Belfast in June 1998.

Teenager remanded over stabbing
A teenager has been remanded in custody in connection with a stabbing in the Stewartstown Road area of West Belfast. A 16-year-old was hospitalised after an altercation in which he received serious injuries. His condition is now thought to be stable.
