Teenager remanded over stabbing
A teenager has been remanded in custody in connection with a stabbing in the Stewartstown Road area of West Belfast.
A 16-year-old was hospitalised after an altercation in which he received serious injuries. His condition is now thought to be stable.
The 17-year-old youth appeared today at Lisburn magistrates Court and when charged with attempted murder, he replied “not guilty”.

Two men die in separate stabbing incidents
Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

A man has been remanded in custody at Enniskillen Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in County Tyrone. Patrick Christopher Morgan, 32, of Drumard Park in Londonderry, denies the charge.

Man Arrested Following Two Stabbing Incidents In Belfast
A 27-year-old man has been arrested following two stabbing incidents in Belfast city centre. The injuries to both victims are not believed to be life-threatening. Inspector Donna McGrady said police were alerted at about 1.15am by a member of the public on Bedford Street to a fight going on in the area.

Man Released On Bail Over College Stabbing Incident
A man, 20, who was arrested in connection with a stabbing at a college in Belfast has been released on bail. Police said the man was released pending further enquiries. A 26-year-old is currently in hospital following the incident at Belfast Metropolitan College on Thursday. His condition is described as serious but stable.

Man Charged With Downpatrick Murder
A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in Downpatrick. A 28-year-old man was stabbed during an attack on Church Street in the Co Down town at 11am on Monday, 03 January. The victim was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect was arrested a short time later.
