Three people stabbed in two separate attacks

A man has been arrested after two teenagers were stabbed at a flat in Co Down.

The attack, which took place at Dufferin Avenue in Bangor shortly before 10pm on Monday, saw a girl in her early teens wounded in the thigh while a man in his late teens was stabbed in the arms and body. Both victims are being treated in hospital and are said to be in a stable condition.

Detectives have appealed to anyone with information to contact them on 028 9145 4444.

Elsewhere, a man has been stabbed during a serious assault in Co Armagh in the early hours of Monday morning.

It is believed that the 52-year-old victim was in bed in his home at Lough Road when two people entered and beat him about the head before stabbing him in the stomach with a broken bottle. The victim is currently being treated in hospital however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are working to establish a motive for the attack which took place at around 12.30am and would urge anyone with information to contact detectives at Craigavon on 028 3833 2424 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Two stabbed in separate weekend attacks
A 25-year-old man has been treated in hospital following an attack in Londonderry at the weekend. The attack happened in Pennethorn Court in the Waterside area of the city at around 12.30am on Sunday. It is understood that the victim was jumped from behind and stabbed three times in the back.

The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.

Man Stabbed In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing attack in south Belfast. A man, aged in his 40s, sustained a stab wound to the neck at residential premises in the St Jude's Parade area at around 1.20am on Tuesday, 29 August. He was taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man found with stab wound to the head
A man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in the back of the head in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The 25-year-old victim was discovered at a flat in the Sandy Row area of south Belfast shortly before 4am. He was immediately taken to hospital were his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Man Stabbed In Belfast
A man has been injured after being seriously assaulted in Belfast. The attack happened on the Antrim Road area just before 8.30am on Friday, 04 August. The victims, aged in his 30s, was stabbed twice in the back following an altercation between a number of people. He is being treated in hospital.
